Engaging my braVe has been tough work. Some days I feel like I want to give up on this little brave project. I pause, inhaling and reconnecting. Giving my fear(s) to the Universe.
The growth:
Vulnerability is at the center of the crossroad of growth.
Fear says, don’t try because what if it doesn’t work out; what if you fail, what if you aren’t good enough.
Growth says, you’ve got this; you’ve been called to this work, your braVe is beautiful, your brave is enough.
The tug-a-war is real. It can be felt throughout the body; every cell feeling the energy shift.
The purpose:
If the story we share can positively shift, enhance, or encourage one beautiful human then sharing the story makes for successful work.
Doing brave work is hard work; the core reason for doing the work is the reality of the need. I’m pretty sure the Universe doesn’t expect perfection. Humans might, ha! But the right humans understand perspective is wayyyy cooler than perfection.
The REAL Human:
My story is messy, imperfect, and beautiful. I bet yours is too.
I fear failure. I fear making mistakes. I fear not being good enough. I dislike spending money if I can’t guarantee a good outcome (aka ROI).
But what I fear more is looking back and wishing I would have tried…. that’s what keeps me going. What keeps you going?
Do you have similar fears?
My point:
Do what makes your heart happy EVEN if you must pause (a million times). Slow is still progress.
